In 2018, the government made the decision that the electricity grid companies in Sweden must replace or upgrade all electricity meters to modern smart electricity meters with improved functions before the year 2025.
All new electricity meters installed in Sweden must have the customer interface HAN-P1/RJ12. Via HAN-P1, you get instant access to, for example, meter readings, active power and reactive power.
