Our mains- or battery-powered wireless M-Bus repeaters are very easy to use and have many options to increase the range between meter and gateway.

To achieve maximum coverage, the repeaters can be used in a multi-hop system with up to three hops (three repeaters) without compromising on the OMS Wireless M-Bus standard.

The repeater's enclosure has been designed to be as discreet as possible to avoid sabotage. In addition, the enclosure meets the requirements for IP67, which means that it can be mounted both indoors and outdoors.

The repeaters have either two internal antennas (one vertical and one horizontal) or one to two external antennas, depending on the model. On models with internal antennas, all data is sent once from each antenna, which provides the best conditions for reaching gateways inside buildings.

Every minute, a message is sent from the repeater with, among other things, information about the number of forwarded M-bus telegrams, which shows both that the unit works and how the load on the repeater is. This message is also used for time synchronization in a multi-hop system.

The battery life depends on how much of the time the device is active or in sleep mode. The times can be configured to enable the longest possible battery life, for example active for 10 minutes once a day or active 3 minutes every hour, depending on the meters' transmission interval and how often the measured data needs to be collected.

All devices are ready to be used directly out of the box without the need for any settings. However, they can also be configured to suit specific needs, for example:

Listening timer (how long time it should send data before returning to sleep mode)
Pause timer (how long time it should be in sleep mode before sending again)
Suppression timer (how long it takes before values ​​from a specific meter are sent again)
Meter filtering (e.g., manufacturer ID or whitelisting)
Static routing between repeaters (multihop)

All settings are retained even during battery replacement and power outages.
