PiiGAB’s Environmental Policy
PiiGAB’s company policy is to always value the environmental aspect of doing business and to always make decisions reflecting the best possible outcome for our environment. Our environmental policy is incorporated into all aspects of the business such as administration, production, selling and much more.
PiiGAB wants to reach a sustainable society and because of that we have laid our focus on developing software as well as hardware that will enable both large and small companies to see and follow up on their actual energy consumption. Our goal is to look at the environment from a global perspective. PiiGAB makes it possible for energy users to visualize their own energy consumption and by that give them the incentive to actively work towards saving energy. This makes PiiGAB’s products good and useful tools to monitor the activity used to decrease energy consumption.
Our own products do not contain any material specified on the OBS-list and the products we work with fulfill the requirements for both RoHS and WEEE. Finally, all handling of the products are based on environmental values.
Staff and the day to day business
All our decisions should include the environmental aspect; we shall always strive for a better use of our resources as well as to use environmentally friendly materials and methods. We promote and encourage environmental awareness in our coworkers, as well as collaborate with environmental partners and customers.
Packaging and Products
All our products are packaged using environmentally friendly materials as we are using packaging made of wellpapp from recycled paper. Even our filling material is from recycled material.
Recycling
Since August 13th, 2005 a law has been in place for product responsibility for electric and electrical products (SFS 2005:209,210). The law includes all importing and production companies in Sweden, who sells their products on the Swedish market. We have an agreement with El-Kretsen for care taking and recycling of used products.
